For supported platforms, see J803 Requirements.

All distributions include jconsole and JHS. To install the Qt desktop, use one of the installations with Qt included, or install the desktop separately, see Qt IDE Install.

Zips and tar.gz can be downloaded and installed anywhere on the machine.

Windows AIO installers include the Qt desktop (no need to run install 'qtide').

Linux deb packages do not include the Qt desktop. They require sudo and install files under /usr/... and /etc/... The name of jconsole executable is renamed as ijconsole.

Some anti-virus software may issue false positive warnings for Windows AIO installers, please contact the anti-virus vendors to get this resolved.
